What are we looking for?
We are seeking a professional with solid experience in the operational management of loans, investments, debt transactions, derivatives, and technical cooperation operations. Key responsibilities include recording, validating, reconciling, and updating information, as well as monitoring financial operations. As part of the Financial Assets and Liabilities Control Unit, the selected candidate will contribute to ensuring the integrity, traceability, accuracy, and timely availability of financial information and operational records.
The position will also provide technical support and serve as operational backup for other professionals within the unit, helping ensure business continuity and the effective execution of operational processes.
The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise with critical thinking, initiative, and a results-oriented mindset. The role requires the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and perform successfully in a multicultural environment.
This position is part of the Financial Assets and Liabilities Control Unit, reporting to the Vice Presidency of Finance.

- Record and update loan, investment, debt, derivative, and technical cooperation operations, ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and timely availability of financial information.
- Verify, reconcile, and validate operational and financial information, ensuring consistent and traceable records.
- Process and monitor disbursements, collections, interest payments, amortizations, fees, capital contributions, and other financial transactions.
- Prepare and maintain schedules, databases, control files, and reliable supporting records.
- Prepare information required for financial closings, audits, reconciliations, and internal or external requests.
- Maintain up-to-date files, procedures, manuals, control matrices, and operational documentation within the unit.
- Manage and coordinate operational requests with internal teams and counterparties related to the Bank’s financial operations.
- Monitor due dates, contractual obligations, and financial events related to loans, investments, and debt transactions.
- Participate in process improvement, automation, and optimization initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and information quality.
- Serve as operational backup or temporary replacement for unit staff in activities assigned by Management.
- Perform other related duties that contribute to the continuity and effective functioning of the unit.

Academic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Postgraduate diploma or specialization in Finance or a related area (desired but not required).
- Advanced proficiency in Spanish and/or Portuguese. Intermediate proficiency in English will be considered an asset.
Professional Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the recording, reconciliation, control, and monitoring of financial operations, such as loans, investments, debt transactions, treasury operations, or financial accounting.
- At least 1 year of experience in functions directly related to the position.
- Experience in multilateral development banks, international organizations, public sector entities, or financial institutions will be considered an asset.
Knowledge and Skills
- Financial mathematics applied to loans, investments, and debt operations.
- Basic accounting principles and recording of financial transactions.
- Reconciliation, validation, and control of financial information.
- Advanced use of Microsoft Excel for data processing and analysis.
- Management of databases, control files, and financial operational documentation.
- Operational processes related to disbursements, collections, investments, debt transactions, and technical cooperation operations.
