200th Meeting of FONPLATA’s Executive Board

On Tuesday, May 6, FONPLATA's Executive Board held a virtual meeting, where key proposals for the future of the organization and its projects were discussed.

During the meeting, funding was approved for the ‘Sustainable Urban Drainage and Efficient Mobility Program of Feira de Santana – Feira 200 Years Program’, a project to improve the urban infrastructure of the municipality of Feira de Santana in the State of Bahia, Brazil, promoting sustainability and efficient mobility, within the framework of the celebration of the city's 200th anniversary.

Additionally, the approval of the allocation of retained earnings until December 31, 2024, was recommended to define the destination of these funds and ensure their efficient and strategic application in future project development.

Moreover, to simplify and optimize compensation processes, the unification of countries' quotas was approved to facilitate more effective resource management.

The meeting was attended by all the member countries’ Executive Directors and some Alternates, as follows: Matías Javier Mana, Argentina; Antonio Mullisaca, Bolivia; Fabio Marvulle Bueno and João Luís Rossi, Brazil; Oscar Pérez and Francisco Ogura, Paraguay; and Ariel Cancio and Valérie Stahl, Uruguay.

Executive Board meetings serve as key governance forums where strategic decisions are made to strengthen and expand the Bank, ensuring the effective implementation of initiatives that enhance the quality of life in the regions it operates.
