Under the theme “Building the Future: Resilient Institutions for a Greener, Stronger, and More Inclusive Caribbean,” the annual meeting of the CDB Board of Governors was held in Brasilia, Brazil, from June 9 to 12. FONPLATA participated in the meeting, which brings together regional leaders, representatives of multilateral organizations and authorities from member countries to discuss strategies for sustainable development and regional cooperation.

The Executive President, Luciana Botafogo, and the Head of the Bank's Strategic Development Division, Leonardo Chagas, attended several sessions and held meetings with authorities and representatives of international organizations. There was also a bilateral meeting with the president of CDB, Daniel Best, focused on cooperation between both banks for financing sustainable development in the region.

FONPLATA and CDB maintain cooperative ties and share the commitment to strengthen institutional capacities, regional integration, and the promotion of projects that foster economic and environmental resilience in the countries of the region.
