Representatives of all FONPLATA’s member countries attended the online meeting and approved funding for programs and projects in Argentina and Brazil.

The Executive Director for Argentina, Leandro Gorgal, served as Chairman of the meeting attended by: Marcelo Laura Guarachi and Juana Patricia Jiménez Soto, for Bolivia; Fabio Marvulle Bueno and Leonardo Lima Chagas, for Brazil; Oscar Pérez López and Francisco Ogura, for Paraguay; and Fernado Luis Scelza and Valerie Stalh, for Uruguay. FONPLATA’s Executive President a.i., Luciana Botafogo, and the Bank’s senior management were also present.

During the meeting, funding was approved for the “Bermejo River Basin Development Program—2nd Stage”, the “Provincial Route Nº 13 Project (Province of Chaco), section: National Route Nº 11—National Route Nº 95 Junction, section 2”, and the “Emergency Housing Improvement Program”, in the Argentine Republic. While in the Federative Republic of Brazin, funding was granted for the “Urban Development Program of the Municipality of Atibaia/SP”, and the “Macro-drainage Program of the Mata Fome Hydrographic Basin in Belém do Pará – PROMMAF”.
