FONPLATA supports Argentina’s economic and social development and territorial integration

Ph. FONPLATA

The Development Bank will finance the “Provincial Route Nº 13 Project (Province of Chaco), section: Junction with National Route Nº 11—Junction with National Route Nº 95, section 2” whose objective is to improve the connectivity, trafficability and road safety of Provincial Route Nº 13.

The total investment in the program is USD 40.53 million, of which USD 33.4 million will be financed by FONPLATA, and USD 7.13 million by local contribution. The Ministry of Planning, Economy, and Infrastructure (MPEI) of the Province of Chaco will oversee the execution.

The investment will focus on road works in section 2 of Provincial Route Nº 13, a stretch that connects Cote Lai with Charadai and extends to the junction with Provincial Route Nº 7, and will include, among other things, artwork, bridges, signs, illumination, relocation of public services, and the urban access to the town of Charadai. This will reduce vehicle operating costs and the time spent on the road, as well as contribute to the prevention of road accidents and enhance the connectivity of localities in the area of influence.

Thus, it will contribute to reach four of the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDG): “Good Health and Well-Being” (SDG-3), “Gender Equality” (SDG-5), “Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure” (SDG-9), and “Reduced Inequalities” (SDG-10).
