FONPLATA attended the Meeting of New Mayors in Brasilia and participated in the “External Funding Workshop” aimed at mayors, governors, and local and state managers.

The meeting was coordinated by the Secretariat of Institutional Relations of the Presidency of the Republic of Brazil, co-organized by the Brazilian Association of Municipalities, and supported by the National Confederation of Municipalities and the National Front of Mayors. On behalf of FONPLATA, the Head of Portfolio in Brazil, Oscar Carvallo, spoke about the Bank's features, the projects currently under execution and the financing of new initiatives.

The workshop was also attended by representatives of other multilateral organizations, such as AFD, NDB, KfW, JICA, WB, IDB, and CAF.
