On December 15, Argentina assumed the presidency of the Bank's highest governance body during the 22^nd Meeting of the Board of Governors of FONPLATA.

The meeting was held virtually and was attended by the Governors accredited by the member countries. The authorities highlighted the work of the previous administration and thanked Uruguayan for their Presidency of the Board of Governors. They also wished success to the new administration of the Argentine Republic.

Finally, the Executive President a.i. of FONPLATA, Luciana Botafogo, reported on the work carried out during her interim term. In this regard, the Governors congratulated her management and appreciated the fact that President Botafogo has continued the work to meet the challenges and reach the goals set for FONPLATA in the 2022 administration.
