FONPLATA and UNDP sign Memorandum of Understanding

FONPLATA, represented by Executive President ad interim Luciana Botafogo, and UNDP Brazil, represented by Resident Representative Katyna Argueta, signed in Brasilia a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to generate active collaboration between both institutions, specifying three priority areas of value-added joint effort:

El Memorándum de Entendimiento (MoU) prevé tres grandes áreas de acción conjunta:

  • UNDP Technical support to further align FONPLATA’s project portfolio with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), defining methodologies for impact measurement and analysis.
  • Exchange of information on gender policies.
  • UNDP Brazil Technical support to the Brazilian states and municipalities receiving loans from FONPLATA.

With the signing of this Memorandum of Understanding, UNDP highlights FONPLATA’s commitment to support sustainable projects in Brazilian and other member countries municipalities.
