On September 22, at the 26th Meeting of the Board of Governors of FONPLATA, the Plurinational State of Bolivia assumed the Presidency of the highest governance body of the Bank, represented by the Minister of Development Planning, Sergio Cusicanqui Loayza.

All member countries of FONPLATA, Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Paraguay, and Uruguay, were present in the remote meeting, in which FONPLATA's Executive President, Luciana Botafogo, and the elected president of the Board, Sergio Cusicanqui, thanked Argentina for its work while holding the 2022-2023 Presidency.

The other authorities also wished the Plurinational State of Bolivia success in the task ahead.
