FONPLATA participates in the Annual Meetings of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank Group: Fostering Partnerships for Development
This week, a delegation from FONPLATA is participating in the Annual Meetings of the World Bank, an event that brings together world leaders, civil society, the private sector, and academia to discuss the challenges faced by global development.
Aiming at generating greater alliances linked to financing the development of the countries in our region, FONPLATA participated in various events and meetings.
During the two first days, FONPLATA's Strategic Development team met with the Institute of International Finance (IIF) to analyze the regional macroeconomic context, and with the Government of Singapore to explore opportunities for collaboration.
The delegation also attended a meeting on concessional financing of Multilateral Development Banks (MDBs) organized by the World Bank and the Inter-American Development Bank. The purpose of the meeting was to share knowledge and best practices, promoting a collaborative work model for the MDBs to act in an interconnected system, maximizing their impact in terms of sustainable development.
In the coming days, FONPLATA will continue to participate actively in different spaces, to strengthen its role as facilitator of progress in the MERCOSUR countries and the region, with a long-term vision and a focus on multilateral cooperation.
