FONPLATA held a new meeting of the Executive Board

With the participation of representatives from all FONPLATA member countries, a new meeting of the Executive Board of Directors was held at the Bank's headquarters in Bolivia.

During the session, several issues related to the Bank’s operation were addressed, and updates of the financial policies were approved to improve services aiming at greater flexibilization.

Additionally, the second line of credit for 30 million Euros with the French Development Agency was approved. It aims at projects that contribute to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), to the adaptation and mitigation of the effects of climate change, and to strengthen gender policies.

A report on the possible incorporation of Colombia to FONPLATA was presented to the Executive Board after the signing of the immunities and privileges convention, which took place on June 14.

The meeting was attended by: María Laura Pellegrini, for Argentina; Marcelo Laura Guarachi, for Bolivia; Eduardo Rolim and Fabio Marvulle Bueno, for Brazil; Oscar Pérez and Francisco Ogura, for Paraguay; and the Director for Uruguay, Fernando Scelza, who served as Chairman of the Executive Board of Directors; as well as by FONPLATA's Executive President, Juan Notaro, and the Bank's senior management.
