As part of a visit to review the existing cooperation lines between IDB and FONPLATA, a delegation of the first came on April 16 and 17 to the headquarters in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia.

FONPLATA's Executive President, Luciana Botafogo, and the IDB's Head of Operations in Argentina, Denise Obara took part in the working sessions, where representatives from different areas of FONPLATA reviewed operational and technical aspects of the cooperation. As a result of the exchange, they were able to identify lessons learned in this first stage of execution, as well as the eligibilities and critical milestones that must be addressed to ensure an adequate pace of implementation.

In addition, both teams were able to discuss progress in the areas of gender, diversity and inclusion, socio-environmental issues, and technical cooperation.
