FONPLATA's Administrative Tribunal meets at the Bank’s Headquarters
On April 24 and 25, at FONPLATA's headquarters in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, the Bank's Administrative Tribunal met to discuss advisory opinions.
Jorge Martínez Adalid, who was appointed Chairman of the Tribunal for the period 2025 – 2026 last February in the city of Buenos Aires, presided over the meeting, which was attended by Luciana Botafogo, Executive President; María de los Ángeles Calvino, Chief of Staff; Viviana Gonzalez, Vice President of Strategic Development; Karina Pereira, Legal Counsel; Ángel Flores, Head of Human Talent Management; María Inés Beltramino and Gonzalo Muñiz, from the Legal Office.
The discussions covered the significant role of the Administrative Tribunal, issues for current management, and considerations for the 2026 agenda.
FONPLATA's Administrative Tribunal is made up of one representative from each member country and is currently composed of the following attorneys: Jorge Martínez Adalid, representing Argentina; María Inés Vera Ampuero, representing Bolivia; Silvia Varella, representing Brazil; Lauro Martínez López, representing Paraguay; and Eduardo Tellechea Bergman, representing Uruguay. Ricardo Cronembold Bello is the current Secretary.
This type of meeting allows strengthening the Bank's governance and collaboration between the members of the Tribunal and the Management of FONPLATA. The discussions and decisions made during the meeting will contribute to improving internal regulations and the strategic planning for the next management.
