Executive Board approved key projects for Salta and Mendoza, Argentina
At the recent meeting of FONPLATA’s Executive Board of Directors, held in Asunción, Paraguay, on July 31, the authorities approved two highly important projects for Argentina, aimed at territorial development and the improvement of essential services.
The “Capricorn Bioceanic Corridor Territorial Integration and Sustainable Development Program”, in Salta, will strengthen connectivity and economic development in a strategic region, promoting regional integration and environmental sustainability.
Whereas the “Drinking Water Services Optimization and Expansion Program” in the Province of Mendoza will improve water infrastructure, expand service coverage, and ensure equitable access to drinking water in urban and rural areas of the province.
The following Executive and Alternate Directors were present at the meeting: Matías Javier Mana and Florencia Rosental, representing Argentina; Fabio Marvulle Bueno and Lilian Viana, representing Brazil; Oscar Pérez and Francisco Katsuku Ogura Kono, representing Paraguay. Antonio Mullisaca, Executive Director for Bolivia, participated online.
Other institutional matters were also discussed during the meeting.
